Fazeley Events Acquires the Old Library
Fazeley Events are proud to announce that we have recently added a very exciting new venue in Birmingham’s trendy Digbeth district. The Old Library is a well loved and established venue in the heart of Birmingham’s arts and media quarter, the Custard Factory.
The Old Library is both stunning and versatile, making it the perfect venue for a wedding, conference or private function. It is steeped in history and can be found on maps of Birmingham dating back to the 1880’s.
The Old Library is a blend of modern, open plan space and traditional Victorian Gothic elegance, making it a venue that will leave wedding guests truly impressed. It is known for its high vaulted ceiling with skylights and arched diamond leaded windows, making it both atmospheric and enchanting for the special day. For this reason, the Old Library is a very popular choice for couples seeking a unique city centre venue.
The romantic venue can easily accommodate 150 guests for a ceremony and sit-down reception, and there is further space for a large bar area and dance floor. The space is very versatile, with the Breakout Room being an ideal space for buffets or a relaxation area for guests.
The raised entrance to the Old Library is made private by the tranquil water feature and outside gate, facilitating a private outside area for guests who smoke.
